Disney Pixar has released a new original animated film, "Coco," featuring Miguel, a 12-year-old boy, and the cultural effects of the Day of the Dead.
The trailer, released Wednesday morning, shows Miguel playing his guitar, aspiring to become like the mighty Ernesto de la Cruz.
"Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events," reads the YouTube video description. "Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector... and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history."
Miguel's trusty companion and sidekick, Dante the dog, employs silly antics and facial expressions reminiscent of Gerald the Sea Lion from "Finding Dory."
The movie, from the same people who gave us "Toy Story 3" and "Monsters University," will feature the vocal talents of Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt and Gael Garcia Bernal.
The trailer promises a very musical, colorful and exciting new film which will be in theaters Nov. 22.
