Movie review: 'Hotel Transylvania: Summer Vacation' proves vampires are better in the dark

The zany variety of the characters might be the film’s strongest point, though it quickly becomes apparent the filmmakers are using a lot of flailing limbs and herky-jerky motion to make up for lack of good writing.
